1. Data Controller
Your personal data is processed by Armada Maritime Training Centre, acting as the data controller, within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”).

2. Personal Data Processed
Your first name, last name, email address, phone number, subject of request and message content submitted through the contact, quotation and information forms on our website may be processed. Limited technical records, such as IP address, access time, browser and device information, may also be kept for website security and service continuity.
3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
- Responding to your contact, information and quotation requests,
- Communicating with you about training and service processes,
- Managing application and registration processes,
- Ensuring service quality, website security and business continuity,
- Fulfilling legal obligations and, where necessary, establishing, exercising or defending rights.
4. Legal Grounds and Collection Method
Your personal data is collected through electronic forms, email, telephone and similar channels by automated or partially automated means. Data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK: explicit provision by law, establishment or performance of a contract, fulfilment of a legal obligation, establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and the legitimate interests of the data controller. Where explicit consent is required, your data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred, only to the extent required for the stated purposes, to authorised public institutions and organisations, legal and financial advisers, and providers of hosting, email, information technology and similar services, in accordance with the conditions in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.
6. Retention Period and Security
Your personal data is retained for the period required for the processing purpose and for the limitation or retention periods prescribed by the applicable legislation. When this period ends, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Appropriate technical and administrative measures are implemented against the risks of unauthorised access, loss and unlawful processing.
7. Your Rights under the KVKK
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data has been processed; to request information if it has been processed; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it has been used in accordance with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred domestically or abroad; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request deletion or destruction when the applicable conditions are met; to request that corrections, deletions or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred; to object to an adverse outcome resulting from automated systems; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
8. Application Method
You may submit requests relating to your rights in writing to the postal address above, or to [email protected], with an application explaining your identity and request. Applications are resolved as soon as possible depending on their nature, and within thirty days at the latest.
